Hello, I am Deborah,
I have been an entrepreneur all of my life, but also held a few 9-5 jobs. The 9-5’s were short lived since I really preferred building my own business, I like challenges. I am also a seamstress and did well in the past putting those skills to work in order to make a living. So, a few years back, when I started a whole new chapter in my life, I chose to find a new career as well. I would like to share with you my experience with the online marketing world.
We can earn while we learn.
I became fascinated with the idea of making money online about 7 years ago. So I began researching it only to find that it is very difficult to know which courses are authentic and which are spam. I spent a lot of time reading and checking credentials of the “gurus” to see if what they were offering was real! Most of the courses that I bought into, was one up-sell after another. One may eventually learn marketing with some of these courses, but I do not doubt that it will ultimately cost thousands of dollars before we actually get the information we need to succeed. I followed one “bright shiny object” after another, only to be disappointed. Time and again, I would become discouraged and put my research on hold because I didn’t know who to believe. But (being hard headed as I am) I kept going back to my search for the real deal. I really felt that there was a way to make money online and I wanted it!
I joined Wealthy Affiliate about 5 years ago. I would “stick my toes in the water” at their site occasionally-but kept getting side tracked by another “shiny object”. Back and forth I went for some time until I decided to spend more time on the Wealthy Affiliate site and communicate with a few members. That experience changed my opinion drastically! I finally realized that this is the place to be for a proper education on making money online. I am here for life, what a wonderful community and support group. I believe this is the best place to go for a real education in making money online. I can tell you that what they offer-works.
